Personal website-includes tour dates, itunes link, promotional video .
Conventions of the advertisement for the digipak are :
- centre text
- Institutional details
- Key phrases eg Out Now!
- Strong image [ possibly from MV]
- Range of font styles and sizes
- Graphics eg lines.
This one has a scrolling text that is like a film. However it is a gig location shot which we will not be able to do. Additionally i think it is too dark for our song.
Rock sound website
Lower Than Atlantis has a website and this is something our band SouthBank would need. It would also be possible to develop synergy through the website.
Rock sound magazine-another promotional technique, this magazine will be bought by many music fans, this gets them out and recognised more. Kerrang, Q and I Love Pop are also possible magazines for our advert. We also need to look at these institutions eg Bauer.
These are different ways Lower than Atlantis have advertised themselves to their audience/fans, these tour date posters are found online and on physical copies, which means it can be viewed by a range of people.
Researching these shows how Lower than Atlantis have advertised and made a mark on their target audience. It gives me an idea of how I could use these images and layout with the advertising side of the brief. They use the same colours through out there adverts, which is black, grey and even a slight bit of pink. I could take this concept and use it for my own work, instead using different colours for our own band. The charts how popular the band is and how much of a fan base they already have.

This needs some relevance - institutional details? layout? Analyse your findings here and then say how this influences your creativity and planning.
